Description
This one day #RSMOSCE revision course, with qualified examiners, will give you the chance to practice and perfect the skills needed to pass your third year OSCE. In groups of up to four students you will rotate around all of the following 14 stations for 30 minutes each:
1. Difficult communication scenarios
2. History taking
3. Examination of cranial nerves
4. Interpretation of ECGs
5. Lower and upper limb neurology examinations
6. Cardiology examination
7. Respiratory examination and PEFR
8. Abdominal examination and DRE
9. Varicose veins examination, lower limb arterial examination and ABPI
10. Management of critically ill patient and BLS
11. Thyroid and breast examinations
12. Urinary catheterisation and urinalysis
13. Cannulation and venesection
14. Suturing
*Please note that due to time constraints it may not be possible for all delegates to have a turn on every station. Examiners will ensure that delegates have an equal amount of practice and students will also benefit from observing others and hearing feedback.

Students will be assessed on each station and will receive feedback and tips from examiners. All examiners for third year OSCEs are either MRCS, MRCGP, MRCP qualified or experienced teachers to ensure the highest level of examining at each station.
