The GP Interest Group (GPIG) will be for GPs who are keen to shape the future of how GPs work in occupational health and contribute to the national agenda around health and work. Its role is to facilitate GPs to discuss areas of mutual interest in health and work Inform SOM Council in matters relevant to primary care, health and work Produce guidance for occupational health in primary care Support GPs in achieving DipOccMed to establish an occupational medicine practice as part of their portfolio Peer-group support for GPs to include OH practice in appraisal and revalidation
