STAR event launches new platform for substance misuse support
Come join us at The Guildhall for an exciting event where we unveil our latest initiative to provide better support for individuals dealing with substance misuse. The event will launch a new platform to access support for substance misuse across Northamptonshire and may be of interest to colleagues working across primary care, social care, safeguarding, youth work, and anyone generally interested in substance misuse.
The event will run as a drop-in, and will support health workers and other colleagues to:
- Understand how to refer people with substance misuse needs to relevant support services.
- Inform support planning around substance misuse i.e. care packages.
- Learn about the range of services available to support individuals, carers and families around substance misuse.
- Network with organisations and other health workers providing treatment and recovery services.
- Access the expertise from treatment and recovery service providers in Northamptonshire.
