Course Introduction
This course will help you to develop an understanding of your role as a senior leader in supporting and leading quality improvement work within your organisation. The course is suitable for senior leaders at all levels of management knowledge and experience.

Topics that will be covered include:
What is quality improvement?
How to build a culture of continuous improvement?
Leadership for improvement – activities and high impact behaviours for leaders
You will be taught through short lectures with exercises and discussion focused on application. The course will be led by Dr Amar Shah (College QI lead) and Dr Ruth Briel (Senior Clinical Director, Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS FT).
