Describe the principles of electrosurgery and the difference between bipolar and monopolar circuits, and cautery
Define how to apply the four basic clinical techniques of monopolar circuits in practice
Identify why complications occur in electrosurgery and how to avoid them You can take this module as part of the PGCert in Surgery, designed for FY1-2 & CT1-2.
You can also take this module as a standalone online course at any stage of your career.
To be eligible, candidates need to have successfully completed an undergraduate medical degree and have access to an Educational / Clinical Supervisor.
