The Royal College of Physicians of London (RCP) is pleased to announce that it will be convening a historical conference on the 26 October 2018 as part of the celebrations for its 500th anniversary.
The conference will explore the history and legacy of the RCP and its members, not only in terms of contributions to science and medicine, but also its place in wider political, social and cultural contexts. This is expected to include an examination of the RCP in terms of social history, cultural life, patronage, elitism, gender and politics. Further details to be advertised
