The ICSM Trauma Conference is Imperial College London’s annual Surgical Society event. and the UK’s largest trauma conference for medical students and junior doctors. It aims to provide over 200 International delegates with unparalleled teaching in the field of Trauma Medicine and Surgery in its 13th annual iteration. The 2-day programme, based on the Advanced Trauma and Life Support course, comprises operative trauma simulations, key concepts, and horizons lectures, practical skills teaching and a research poster prize session.
The conference has practical workshops in the afternoon, for which we require surgical, radiology and anaesthetic trainees as well as foundation doctors to be demonstrators for the event to aid with teaching the medical students who attend in a variety of stations.
