CPD – 3 hours / 3 Credits
Half day course covering the key theory to help you prepare your registrar to pass the CSA – including the NEW RCGP CSA Marking scheme and scoring.
By the end of this course you will have a thorough understanding of how the MRCGP CSA examination is marked, the types of cases your registrar can expect, common areas that cause registrars to fail, learn how to assess your registrar, and discuss methods to help improve their performance and preparation.
The Course Director and main speaker is Dr Mahibur Rahman. He is a Portfolio GP in Birmingham and a Consultant in Medical education. He has helped hundreds of doctors succeed in their Membership examinations since 2006. He has been running MRCGP for Trainers courses for several years, and is the author of the MPS MRCGP Revision guide. As well as being the course director for the Emedica MRCGP CSA course, he has been the main speaker on MRCGP courses for West Midlands deanery, North Birmingham VTS and a guest speaker at an event for the RCGP South East and South West Thames Faculties.
