Back pain is one of the five leading causes of long term absence in the UK*, making it vital that OH professionals have the skills to successfully assess, treat and manage employees with back pain. This new workshop will provide you with the tools to manage back pain in the workplace. It looks at how to assess and treat biopsychosocial obstacles to recovery in back pain, with the focus on addressing psychological factors, to improve consultations and employee outcomes. The new skills learnt can be used on a day to day basis in occupational health to achieve better OH outcomes.
