This year marks the 70th birthday of the NHS and to continue with the celebrations The King’s Fund Information and Knowledge Service is launching a brand new book group. Named after our own King Edward VII, Bertie’s Book Group will focus on books that have a medical or health-related theme.
This month the we will be discussing ‘The Giant, O’Brien’ by Hilary Mantel

Refreshments
Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase on the evening from an on-site bar. Both cash and card are accepted at the bar.
Getting here
The book group will be held in the King’s Fund Information Centre.
The nearest tube stations are Oxford Circus and Bond Street. Cycle parking is available on Cavendish Square and there is a Q-Park on Cavendish Square if you wish to drive.
