Description
** this meeting date was changed from 6 december 2018 to 16 january 2019 **
Post traumatic craniofacial deformity is a fascinating area of management, often undertaken by various specialties.
While the goal of the primary repair is to restore pre-injury appearances and function, this can often elude us, especially following high energy injuries.
For anyone with an interest in craniofacial trauma, secondary correction is often an integral part of the care pathway.
This meeting aims to improve our understanding of post traumatic deformity, heighten our ability to critically evaluate our results and discuss contemporary methods and techniques to help us fine tune or ‘re-do’ sub optimal outcomes, whatever the reason.
topics covered
Nature of various deformities and effects on patients.
Clinical assessment of craniofacial deformities.
Knowledge of techniques and procedures to improve deformity.
