At this morning meeting, special guest speaker Professor Mazin Al-Khabori, Head of ENT Department, Al-Nahdha Hospital, Muscat, will be giving the Edith Whetnall lecture ‘Childhood deafness:What we have done in Oman`.
In Oman, the ENT specialty started in 1974 within the general service provision framework of the Renaissance of 1970 with the ascension of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Today ENT services are thriving in Oman, included programmes such School entry Hearing Screening for children.
Attend this event to learn more about progress in the regions, and how Professor Mazin Al-Khabori and his team are working to repair childhood deafness in Oman.
