Description
Overview
A one day workshop where delegates can learn about topics relevant to management of Massive Obstetric Haemorrhage (MOH) with lectures from experienced clinicians. This is combined with a hands-on workshop with practical clinical tips on uterine compression sutures, balloon tamponade, estimation of blood loss and pelvic packing. This workshop is particularly for Healthcare professionals who will first come in contact with haemorrhaging mothers and is geared to delivering interventions which are rapid, easy to learn and life-saving.

Appreciation of accuracy and reproducibility of visual assessment of MOH
Develop relevant hands on skill for compression sutures and balloon tamponade
Role of abdominal and pelvic packing as a lifesaving procedure
